An anti-drug operation in Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay, has netted two suspected drug personalities, an official said July 3.
Lawyer Jacquelyn De Guzman, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional director, identified the arrested suspects as Sandro Wooton, 43, and Randy Wooton, 47.
De Guzman said the Wootons were arrested in a drug bust on July 3 at around 8:30 p.m. at Purok Triangle in Santa Cruz village, Kabasalan.
The Wootons are listed as high-value target of the PDEA and police in the province.
Seized from the two were some 2.4 grams of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) worth P16,320 packed in six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, P500 marked money, a cellular phone and illegal drug paraphernalia.
The suspects were detained while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are set to be filed against them. (jm)
