Dipolog City – Gov. Roberto Y. Uy is set to deliver his 6th State of the Province Address on March 25 at the Zamboanga del Norte Convention and Sports Center here.
This year’s SOPA is the sixth for Uy as the chief executive of the province.
Acting the letter sent by Provincial Administrator Romeo C. Reyes to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Board Member Crisologo A. Decierdo passed e resolution transferring the regular session of the provincial board to the convention center for the SOPA.
It is expected that the governor will outline his accomplishments.
He is likely to heap praises for the provincial board under the leadership of Vice Governor Senen O. Angeles for passing important measures in support to the governor’s agenda.
A source inside the Office of the Governor, who asked not to be named, said the governor is also expected to set “new agenda and directions for the province to pursue” this year.
Uy, serving his second term, is seeking re-election on May 13 elections. (amm)
